We have given it a makeover which we hope will make it more user friendly, more informative and a one stop shop for all your Castlebar Mitchels needs. 

Along with a fresh new look, we are for the first time, bringing to you an online facility for our members to join or renew your membership for 2016 and going forward.

Below we have a few basic tips on how to navigate and how to best use your website.

Top of the Page:

Home - always brings you back to the homepage.

Information - contains all the basic information about your club.

Bord na nÓg - contains a list of the Bord na nÓg officials, mentors and their contact numbers.

An Sportlann - contains opening hours, booking details, activities based there, what we can cater for and contact details.

Ladies Club - contains information regarding the Ladies Club plus all the contact details for officials and mentors.

Fixtures & Results - contains a full list of all the clubs fixtures and results which will also be on display at the bottom of the page in summary form.

Image Gallery - this is where you will find all the pictures uploaded to our website over the years which we plan to add to and develop going forward.

Roll of Honour - contains everything won by the club at every age level from U-14 upwards including the opposition and scores from the finals.

Club History - contains a brief synopsis of the history of the club from 1885. Our aim is to expand on this going forward until we have a full and detailed history of the club displayed online for present and future generations to view.

Contacts - contains a full list of the executive members and team managers along with their contact details.

Official Charity - this year we made a decision to support a chosen charity annually which for 2015 is the Mayo Pink Ribbon Cycle

Latest News - here you will find all the latest news and previous news items from your club.

Fixtures/Results - here you will find all the clubs fixtures and results. Fixtures will always be displayed when the you enter the site and just click on results to see the latest full time scores.

Sponsors - our main sponsor Shaw Commercials and our secondary sponsor Stauntons Pharmacy are catered for here. By clicking on their names you will be brought directly to their own websites.

Upcoming Events - this is a calendar showing games, events, fundraisers etc...that are coming up. By clicking on the highlighted orange dates you will be able to see what is happening on that particular date.

Online Membership - for the first time you will be able to join or renew your membership online from the comfort of your own home securely via a debit/credit card through a facility supported by My Club Finances. We also plan to be able to sell tickets etc..by this method going forward.

An Sportlann Online Booking - whilst the facility is not in place yet, we are hoping that with the aid of My Club Finances that customers will be able to book and pay for the use of An Sportlann online.

Advertising - here you will find advertising slots. For an initial period we are offering free advertising to individuals and businesses who have supported the club and might not necessarily have received the thanks and credit for doing so in the past. If you click on the ads you will be brought to their own websites or Facebook pages (if supported). Going forward we plan to use these advertising slots as a potential revenue stream for the club.
