Mental Health and Health & Safety Seminar:
This Wednesday May 6th at 8pm in An Sportlann, we will be hosting for coaches and parents, a Mental Health and Health & Safety Seminar which will feature Peadar Gardiner and David Ulrich:
Peadar Gardiner-Project Officer with Mindspace Mayo:
Mental wellbeing is important to all and it is also important to recognise mental health difficulties. Peadar will speak about mental health and young people and introduce the Mindspace Mental Health service recently launched in Mayo
Mr David Ulrich-Chartered Physiotherapist MISCPB.Phys.Ed, B.App.Sci(Physio), M.Sc(Sports & Exercise Medicine), Cert.Orth.Man.Therapy, CPSEM Level III Sports Physiotherapist
David is the physiotherapist that provides care to Castlebar Mitchels players and comes to this role with a wealth of experience.
He will provide an insight into the return to play from injury and how coaches can best support players at that time.
Club General Meeting:
A Club General Meeting is being scheduled for Monday 25th May. The purpose of this general meeting will be to update the membership on all that is happening within the club. Further details will be announced closer to the date.
Bingo:
''Mayo's Best Bingo'' is hosted by Castlebar Mitchels in An Sportlann, adjacent to MacHale Park, every Tuesday night at 8.45pm.
