Supporter Information Ahead of the Mayo v Galway Double Header:

February 08, 2018

The Galway County Board has asked us to pass on the below information to supporters travelling to Pearse Stadium this Sunday:

Games in Pearse Stadium, Sunday 11th February 2018

LGFA: Galway v Mayo at 12pm

AFL: Galway v Mayo at 2pm

On behalf of Galway GAA and the Pearse Stadium Committee we welcome all GAA Supporters to Salthill on Sunday next, 11th February 2018, for two very attractive games in the LGFA League and Allianz Football League between Galway and Mayo. It promises to be a big occasion.

These games on Sunday will result in increased traffic in the Galway, Salthill and Pearse Stadium areas and we urge all Supporters to arrive early, in order to avoid traffic congestion and potential delays entering the Stadium.

We appeal to all Supporters to arrive early, to park in the designated Car Parks and to park legally and responsibly, at all times. Designated Car Parks will be signposted.

Roads adjacent to Pearse Stadium will be closed to Supporters and An Garda Siochána will man barriers to control access.

With the large number of tickets already purchased and as seating in the stand will be on a first come first served basis, we expect that the Stand will be full by 1.15pm. Thereafter all admission will be to the Terraces only. So, again we appeal to all Supporters to pre-purchase tickets and to arrive early.

Finally, we appeal to all Supporters to be conscious, mindful and respectful to the needs of our neighbours, the local residents.

In Summary:

Please travel with care and arrive early.

Please use designated Car Parks and park legally and responsibly.

Please be respectful and mindful of the needs of Local Residents.

Enjoy the game and safe journey home.

Thank You for your cooperation and your support.
