In 2017 Castlebar Mitchels embarked on an ambitious project to build a 4G Astro Turf Pitch and already, we have put some funding in place.

In order to further advance this project, we are appealing to the Castlebar/Mayo diaspora in the United States for support. Our appeal is backed by the County Mayo Foundation and details of our project together with our promotional video is on their website – countymayofoundation.org/castlebar-mitchels-gaa-project  

County Mayo Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) Organisation under the US Tax code.

A successful fundraising campaign in the USA will help us deliver the 4G Pitch.

We need your help to bring this project to the attention of the Castlebar/Mayo diaspora in the USA. Every one of us has relations, business acquaintances or other contacts in the USA.

We are asking you to send us email details of your contacts in the USA.

All USA subscribers who donate, through the County Mayo Foundation, will qualify for a US tax break on their donations. Please return details of your contacts in the USA to secretary.castlebarmitchels.mayo@gaa.ie  by 26th Jan 2018.This information will then be passed on to County Mayo Foundation which will contact them directly. County Mayo Foundation will also mount a social media based appeal for those who prefer to use this medium.

Members who furnish us with contact details will qualify for a draw for €100 voucher.
