The senior management team of Castlebar Mitchels announced last night that they are stepping down from their roles after 3 magnificent years in charge.

The club owes a huge debt of gratitude to Declan O'Reilly, Declan Shaw, Eamonn ‘’’Benji’’ Smith and Michael ‘’Duther’’ Durkan for their work over the last 3 years.

During their tenure they helped to deliver a Connacht Senior Football Championship, 3 Mayo Senior Football Championships and a Mayo Senior League Title along with guiding the team on their memorable run to the 2016 All Ireland Club Final.

The work carried out behind the scenes by these four men over the 3 years is immeasurable and the club will be eternally grateful for those efforts.
