6 Week Stress Control Course at An Sportlann

Castlebar Mitchels is delighted to host an upcoming 6 week Stress Control Course being run by Community Healthcare West at An Sportlann.


What is it?


'Stress Control’ is a six session evening class being run by the HSE Mayo Primary Care Psychology Service in association with the Mayo Suicide Prevention Alliance. ‘Stress Control’ was devised to help the large number of people who experience stress and who are keen to learn how to tackle their problems themselves.


Each session deals with a separate aspect of stress but as they all link together, it is highly recommended that you attend all six sessions.


When is it?


The course will run every Tuesday from March 5th to April 9th


March 5th - Session 1: Learning about Stress
March 12th - Session 2: Controlling your Body
March 19th - Session 3: Controlling your Thoughts
March 26th - Session 4: Controlling your Actions
April 2nd - Session 5: Controlling Panic
April 9th - Session 6: Controlling Sleep problems & Review


Time: 7.00 - 8.30pm


Where is it on?

Upstairs in An Sportlann, MacHale Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.


What does it cost?


The course is open to the public, it is being run by the HSE in association with Mayo Suicide Prevention Alliance and it is completely free of charge.
