The death has occurred of Gina Carney, Corheens, Castlebar. 

Gina was a long standing member of the club. 

During the 1980s and 1990s she was Physio to Castlebar Mitchels teams when she was highly respected as a caring, hard working and committed member of the club. Gina was also a member of Castlebar Mitchels Ladies committee.

Gina is survived by her husband Martin, son Eoin, daughters Niamh, Orla and Eimear

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Reposing at The Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Wednesday evening from 5 pm with removal at 8 pm to St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Breaffy Cemetery.
