Supporter Invitation from Thurles Sarsfields:

June 12, 2018

We have received the below invitation from our friends in Thurles Sarsfields ahead of the Mayo v Tipperary qualifier in Semple Stadium on Saturday July 23rd.

We would encourage our members, where possible, to take up their invitation as we ourselves do benefit greatly from away supporters using An Spórtlann so it's always good to acknowledge an invitation when we receive one like this. Full details below:

Invitation from Thurles Sarsfields:

As the son of a very proud Castlebar woman, it was the draw I hoped for. My mother is a sister of Christy and Ray Flaherty from Lightford, and an aunt of Christopher Flaherty who were and are well connected to the Mitchels.

On behalf of Thurles Sarsfields GAA Club, I would like to invite your club members to join us in our Clubhouse on the day of the Tipperary v Mayo football qualifier, before and after the match for some food, refreshments and a chat about the match. We have full bar facilities and our own food outlet inside in our complex where we serve an array of fast food.

Our facility, like all GAA facilities, is family friendly, and weather permitting, we have an outdoor seating area and kids are free to play out on our pitch.

Our Clubhouse is located right beside the old stand of Semple Stadium.

Parking:

We also have our a car park located on the Nenagh Road, Thurles as you approach the Stadium. This car park, a mere 5 minute walk to the Stadium will be the location of our new pitches and dressing rooms in the years to come – we have just launched our new Club Development in the last few weeks. We would urge your club supporters to park with us – the car park will be fully supervised all day. All proceeds go towards our Pitch Development project.

Yours in sport.
